Masha started her dance journey in 1989 in Saint Petersburg, Russia with years of classical ballet training. In 1998, after moving to San Francisco, California she discovered the world of Hip Hop and joined her High School Performance team. Masha also served as the assistant choreographer. Since then she fell in love with teaching and seeing a dance piece manifest into a beautiful finished production. Masha’s love for various music genres led her to join a Dancehall Group – The Trapsettez based in San Francisco. In 2015 Masha was introduced to Kizomba where quickly fell in love with the music and dance. Masha has travelled to Paris to train with leading instructors. Today Masha hosts a monthly kizomba class and party called Kizz House Party in San Mateo, California every fourth Saturday of the month.
