About Us:
We are longtime friends with a mutual respect for each other’s knowledge and skills as dancers and teachers. This respect is reflected in our classes which place equal value on both the lead AND the follow’s role. With a sense of fun and playfulness and attention to detail we aim to create a warm, relaxed learning environment that maximizes and honors our students learning.
When deciding to team up it was important to us that we didn’t follow the common path of most Kizomba instruction but created balanced instruction that focuses on follows just as much as it focused on leads. Additionally, we are dedicated to addressing issues/topics that are often overlooked in classes.
We want our students to walk away from each classes feeling accomplished and knowing they have gained more knowledge, technique, skill as well as unlocking their own creativity and dance personality. This guiding philosophy will help students learn faster and be more confident because the class accommodates the students rather than the students having to accommodate to class.
